over 6 years agoI found Ekaterinburg lovely. I went to the large city in Siberia in January and found beautiful buildings and a wonderful culture. St. Petersburg seemed less authentic to me, targeted for tourists, but if that’s your thing, it has plenty to offer. For a true cultural experience of Russia, though, try a further-east place like Ekaterinburg. Just a 37-hour train ride from St. Petersburg!
