If you live in Arizona, getting to cool weather, lakes, trees and maybe some rain is special treat. Love to head up to Payson to camp at Bear Canyon Lake or Woods Canyon, Rim Country they say, it reminds me a little of the small town in Michigan I grew up in. yep yep, worth it, go there and hike, boat and catch some fish!

My husband and I will head west to our favorite getaway. Just came back from Oceanside, it was gorgeous-the weather, the view, time we spend there is always always worth it! We were right next to Harbor Dr. which was a treat and had some margaritas and fried calamari at the BajaLobster place down there and coffee on another walk down there. Our hotel was within walking distance(Days Inn-nice and clean). Ruby’s Pier right down the road. Very nice!

I met my future husband online and our first “date” was spent here and out to eat at the Peppermill. The hotel itself was pretty basic, I dont remember much more than the good time I spent with my sweetie and the view of the Luxor next door. He choose this place because I was his princess and we should stay in a castle;)
