The journey up to the temple Kiyomzu is along a cobbled walk way lined with numerous interesting little shops where one can purchase traditional keepsakes or just browse through, stopping off for refreshments if one wants. The ambience created by the throngs of people is an experience all of it’s own. Then of course there are all the little traditional rituals carried out at the temples that make for an interesting visit. Definitely worth a visit or two when staying around this area.
