Disorderly, pushy and you don’t even know which cupcake flavour is which!!
Not customer friendly at all – ZERO service!
Seriously – there are HEAPS of other cute cupcake places in NYC that are just as good. Billy’s Bakery makes cupcakes that are just as or even beter than Magnolia PLUS there Key Lime Pie and there Banana cake/cupcakes are to DIE for! AND they are friendly and answer questions about their products, whereas Magnolia act as if they are doing YOU a favour.
Look outside the square folks! Try somewhere not as touristy next time!

Amazing records stores.
The space needle.
Great weather (I like it cold and rainy!)
What more could you ask for folks!
Be sure to go to the Pike Place market and grab a freshly made crumpet and get a HUGE choc chip cookie from one of the bakeries there – TOOGOOD!
I put the ‘worth visitng’ tag because I love my country, but Sydney just doesn’t do it for me.
The people are rude.
The place has no structure – the city is ALL over the place.
Everyone is way TOO busy and in a hurry (whilst in New York, they are too, but they aren’t angry about it)
There is NO WHERE to get a good coffee.
Newtown is pretty cool though, they have great vintage stores.
It’s weird that more ppl. want to go here than to Melbourne – I know it’s my home town, but I have heaps of friends from Sydney who hate it, and have moved to Melbourne because they find it more accepting – I guess if you’re alternative you’ll enjoy Melbourne more. If you like the water, the beach and a yuppie lifestyle, then go to Sydney!over 7 years ago
