Memphis, Tennessee

Memphis's my hometown!

I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. I also went to college there. I currently reside in Arlington, VA though, because of work.

  • Home truly is where the heart is.
  • It is the people that make a place home, sometimes.
  • I guess there are two types of places – places that you enjoy because of the people and places you enjoy just because you like the place, regardless of who’s there.
  • Sometimes you can like a place because certain events happened there. These places have a sentimental place in your heart.

I like Memphis because of the people, viz., my family! They are so many. And there there’re a lot of ’em too. Some things also happened in Memphis that are sentimental to me. Public transportation sucks thought :(

If I select an option for “worth / not worth visiting” people might think that I’m suggesting that because I feel that way, the will also. The same thing happens with movies – “Is it good?” I can only answer “I liked / didn’t like it” to questions like these. There is not objective good / bad, right? I settled on “worth visiting” but please do not interpret this as me suggesting that you will think this place was worth visiting after visiting. Please, don’t.
