That whole mountain area is just wonderful. The clean air and clear mountain streams. The only thing that we felt was a rip off was the ‘Day out with Thomas’ in dillsboro. The train went 15 minutes backwards and then 15 minutes right back to the station. Waiting for that train ride we walked even more to see the town. Cherokee is beautiful and the casino is ok, nothing fancy just a casino.

I will be going back though. It’s lovely.

It has a lot to offer yes, that is why I said it’s worth visiting but does have it’s draw backs as well. The smell is aweful. There is trash on the streets (hello New Yorkers that is what trash cans are for). I wouldn’t suggest bringing your car into Manhatten because it’s horrible trying to find a parking spot and they charge way too much to park even on the streets. Before they use to allow free parking at night and on the weekends on the streets but not anymore. The people are OK, they are not nice on the streets but is has gotten better. But still don’t expect to hear a Thank you if you open the door for someone. If I didn’t have so much family living there I doubt I would ever go back. I would stick to visiting Atlanta instead.

I’ve been to NYC too many times. It’s pretty dirty and smells bad. It gets too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. They charge you for every little thing you do. Free parking, yea right they charge an arm and a leg just to part your car on the road.

I think people should go at least once in their life because it does have a ton of things to offer and even though it’s freezing in the winter Christmas time in NYC is a great feeling. It actually feels like Christmas with the decorations everywhere and the store displays. Because of that I say it’s worth visiting even though I really hate going and the only reason I have to is because I have a bunch of family in Brooklyn.
