Its a dense dry forest, bring plenty of water for a day’s trip. You will need it, the Sun is extreme and there is very little water in the Dry Forest, plants and trees thrive in this area even with little water. Great for the adventure hiker. But really not advertised that much as a tourist place.

If you love Beaches, then this is the place to be!

There are so many different kinds of beaches here.

You have Flamenco Beach, La playa de Luquillo, La playa de Arroyo, Playa Santa, Playa Gorda, Playa las Bajenas, San Juan Beach, and that’s just a sampling, you have deserted beaches, resort beaches, surfing beaches, public and private beaches, the list is huge.

I’ve gone to at least 7 different beaches so far, its hard to say which ones are the best, I like the ones with the few crowds most. Don’t forget your sun tan lotion!
