I visited Mt. Rainier in June 2002. My sister had just had her third son, and the three children, my sister, mother, and I went up there. Mt. Rainier is the most breathtaking view. I felt really peaceful there. It’s quiet, scenic, and pretty cold even in June.
I visited a little lodge/shop where you can see the top of Mt. Rainier. It’s a log cabin type structure that just made it very rustic and natural. It is an incredible experience.
