Absolutely the best place to see Seattle in all it’s awesomeness. Kerry Park has a great view of downtown, but nowhere else in Seattle can you have such a beautiful view of downtown, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill and Lake Union – all at the same time.

Also, the gas facility makes for some really cool photo opportunities.

Make sure to take in the surroundings. Go hiking, go kayaking, visit the parks, at least walk around downtown… don’t just stick to campus. The campus is beautiful, but there’s so much more than that.

I was thinking about going to Concordia Portland when I was a senior in HS, so I went on their visiting weekend. We spent an entire day going all through the downtown area. Probably one of the best trips I went on in a while!

[For the record, I ended up not going to Concordia, but it had nothing to do with the city.]

I was very young, and I remember thinking it was so cool to go see the Alamo. It’s the only place I’ve ever been where an actual battle took place, it was kind of haunting to think about.

I also went on this riverboat cruise thing, don’t remember many details but I thought it was fun!

...to a certain extent. The beaches are large, the water is cool,the touristy stuff is fun. I lived here for about 6 months and it was a good base from which to do other things, like go to the Keys or Ft Lauderdale. Coconut Grove is nice, and there are some areas that are very nice. Crime is a bit of a problem, but overall a good experience.

I performed here in February for the ACDA convention. Acoustics are perfect. Any seat on the floor sounds like the room was designed for that seat. Very odd to have people sitting behind the stage, but all in all, one of the most fulfilling performance experiences of my life.

I loved my time in LA. I admittedly stayed near the tourist areas mostly, but it was a lot of fun. Make sure to visit the Santa Monica boardwalk.

Clear water, blue skies, hot sun. I visited here on a mission trip, but they have a little slice of heaven here already.

I performed here almost 5 years ago. We performed the Mozart Requiem as a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. One of the most amazing experiences of my life.
