I will go to Mongolia in 2007

Today 1 of my colleague asked me to join him for a trip to Mongolia. He had been living there for 3 years and he would like to come back.

So… I will save up and do a trip pass over China and go to Mongolia…

Cameron Highland...a must go...

Some shoots there: http://community.webshots.com/album/550188386aUgfNn

Jumped in a bus from Penang for a drive up to Cameron Highland, I first felt so unsual about that trip. Still wondering should I go to the moutain or should I go to a beach town…But the bus rolled on and I decided smartest thing was to get some sleep.

I soon felt into a deep sleep for ~ 3 hours, struggled with a strange dream and woke up when the bus turned around a dead curve… Woke up! and I found myself covered around a massive green, it was raining outside hardly, the moutain was deep in snow like banana split * aha* and I knew we were entering Cameron Highland.

Located in 2100m above sea level, Cameron Highland is just so charming with a wonderful lust green moutain, only 1 snake road around with many dead curves, orchird blooming along the road (no joke!!!), flowers are everywhere, bird fly and sing like crazy… Oh my god! is this heaven???

The more we drove up, the more dream sences the nature became. I felt in love with Cameron Highland without a skip of heart beat.

The bus stopped at the last town, I got on the highland road with my blue back pack. The town was small and full of Indian and chinese… I decided to move on until I ended up on a small hill and stucked myself into a charming Hotel. Why not! I’m on holiday. I must spend some money to treat me good. The Hill louge turned out to be a very good choice, I had a good room, great view, friendly environment for single traveller and a deep sleep after all.

Cameron Highland is famous for many thing:

Charming old houses, villas, churchs, Hotels…

Tea farm with amazing images of tea row planned up to reach the top of mountain high. The locals with basket on their backs, started from early morning to pick tea among cloud…

Straubery farms, roses valley, catus garden, bee farms are everywhere there is a big sign " PLUG YOURSELF" which I prefered to read as " F*** it YOURSELF" he he

Birds birds and birds… don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to be a birder but after the bird watching trip I just truly be impressed by birds. But in Cameron Highland you can also see animals, butter fly…and whatever animal you think they can survive in 2100m

GOLF hey I can play golf if you remember, but here in Cameron it’s too upscale and too expensive for me.

…. so so much more to do and see

For me I rent a motor bike, put on a helmet and drive around. Try to be a tea picker here, trekking there, drink tea, pee in the wild, PLUG yourself strauberies and took many pictures with flowers…

It’s a must go place when you visit Malaysia and it’s a place I want to return
