Ipanema Cafe, Richmond

A Basement Cafe with one Menu

Ipanema is a basement bistro with a veg friendly menu, a long dark wooden bar, and a few booths. It’s small and cozy with a young and hipster-ized atmosphere. While I was there they piped in Sufjan Stevens and Rilo Kiley.

An important note, there is only one menu and it is on a chalkboard. You should probably figure out what you want before you sit down.

Little Grill Collective, Harrisonburg

Little Gill Love.

I have lot’s of love for The Little Grill. They have a wonderful selection of vegetarian and vegan foods. They also serve meaty dishes for meat lovers and people who are afraid of the “v” word.

The atmosphere is eclectic and very laid back. The Grill also supports the community, local artist, and musicians.

Their prices are quite reasonable. I was able to go there on a weekly basis while I was in college.
