i live REALLY close to here. by far my favorite place in boston. absolutely gorgeous, especially during the warmer months when the reflecting pool is full & the fountains are on.

i stayed here this past summer at the driftwood inn, it was amazing :) if you go, get lobster at cook’s on orrs island, it’s like a 2 minute drive.

i got soooo lost here trying to get back on the parkway… shady town, basically.

great place to walk around on a nice day. just outside of portland. the trail is about a mile long. the only complication is that the parking’s limited so it can be difficult to get in, but it’s definitely worth a try.
