I was able to stay at the dorms at this campus for 4 glorious days, due in part because I won in my state’s History Day competition. Here on the Maryland Campus, I met my first boyfriend — who is still to this day the most amazing person I have ever met, even though we’re not together anymore. Here on the Maryland Campus, I made tons of new friends and discovered so much about myself. I was able to let loose and have a blast every single day. Here on the Maryland Campus, I lived off of “No-Doze” and Coca-Cola, so as to never miss a minute of my adventure. I stayed up late, in to the wee hours of the morning, having conversations that lasted hours with people who I had just met a few days before. These memories have made me in to the person I am to day, and I have College Park to thank!
