Amazing place to go – the food was great, the people were very friendly, the pace was laid back. All in all, it was a splendid trip.

I’m going on September 29th! Booked my tickets from Bangalore and everything. I’ll miss a day of work on Monday (Tuesday is Gandhi Jayanthi – holiday), but I’ll deal.

Chill out on the beach – in October!

Absolutely beautiful area in France. Mont Saint Michel was spectacular and touring the major battlegrounds of D-Day was sobering to say the least. The people were great – very friendly. Highly recommended.

Aside from a few nice areas (Greektown, Stadium district, etc.), Detroit has been going downhill for close to 50 years. It doesn’t help that the city government doesn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. I’ve lived in the Detroit area my whole life, and it’s really not a nice place to visit. Maybe if Kwame and Co. decide to actually make real progress and stop wasting taxpayer money on parties at Manoogian Mansion and Cadillacs, Detroit might be revitalized.
