Saint Lucia, Central America And The Caribbean

Untitled by libsterm

I lived there for four months with my parents. Sure if you went on a cruise I’m sure it would be breathtaking and beautiful and all that, which it was, but the culture was horrible. Our next door neighbour stole from us, then when we confronted her mother she was going to boil her hands, and they hit the students in school with a leather strap. It wasn’t a good experience, even with seeing the volcanoes which I am really interested in. I won’t go back unless its on a cruise. Of course I did make friends there, some who I am still in touch with, but the culture is just not nice.

I spent a year here with my parents when I was ten (it wasn’t so long ago as I’m now 18). It is so beautiful there. The only reason we left was because of the violence. Other than that it was gorgeous- my favourite place I have ever lived. We lived in Vunapope across the bay from the volcanoes (and the ruins of Rabaul) in East New Britain. I definitely recommend it. I really want to go back there some day. Off of East New Britain are also the Duke of York Islands which are perfect in every way but unfortunately sinking.
