this was my first “adult” trip, without my parents planning it, going with me, or paying for my ticket. i had a blast! my gf at the time and i went to chinatown twice because we loved it so much: i loved it for the shopping and people watching and she loved all of the tagging.
over 5 years agoI bought a trip for myself and my girlfriend to go here for her 21st birthday. we broke up prior to going, and hotwire.com doesn’t allow for name changes or cancellations. so i went! i met another girl there, who i’m not with now, but who changed my attitude about my situation and life. i’m much happier now! and it’s a great place to go. my advice though? get off the strip. see the desert. eat at a mcdonald’s. it’s one of those places where it’s easy to forget anyone actually lives there.
i visited a library that’s really close to the stratosphere. i walked there, to the horror of the women who worked in the library. apparently it’s a sketchy neighborhood.
