Lahaina, Maui
Beautiful, relaxing
I found Maui to be a bit less touristy that some other Islands, offering great hiking, and water activities, but still had some of the basic Hawaiian vacation offerings, party cruises, guided scuba and snorkeling, shopping, and Luaus. The beaches here are not as often sandy, but if you like to hike and enjoy the environment it’s a great location. We stayed at the La’haina inn, on the beach in town and off the Tourist strip.
