The town’s quaint, and the mission is worth a look…

Has one of the most beautiful city beaches I’ve seen.

Had to check it out because I was nearby (at the Salton Sea). I’m sure it’s not a bad place to live, but there don’t seem to be many reasons to visit (other than the novelty of being at the border).

Pretty awesome view of the desert, and a truly impressive altitude gain (from sea level to 8,000 feet very quickly!).

It’s pretty disappointingly touristy. Two Bunch Palms in Desert Hot Springs is a great place to stay though…

I took a lot of cool photos there.

Trail Ridge Road is an incredible drive!

The Flatirons are beautiful.
