only reason why i went here was because it’s super cheap to stay in while on a ski trip. I stayed here during christmas time for only $25 a night (all taxes included) at a 4-star hotel. Yet, if you’re an avid gambler, this town’s ugliness and lower rent might give you a better chance at winning. I say this because Vegas Casinos are known to have been lowering their winning ratios due to the high cost of maintaining all the ‘glitz’ they have to present.
over 6 years agoduring my short stay in rio, i didn’t manage to visit maracana. being an avid soccer (football/futbol/futebol) fan, i definitely wanted to see the stadium that—rumor has it—can hold up to 200,000 people. just plain amazing.
over 6 years agoThis roman aqueduct makes me feel dumb. Centuries ago, the romans were using this as a water pipeline to move water. and not only that, but the aqueduct is absolutely stunning!
