This is where I spent a summer getting my MA in Spanish, simply wonderful!

I spent a summer here and it was my first time to Vermont and New England in general. I think it’s such a beautiful, quaint town. The mountains surrounding everything are remarkable, certainly not like anything I’ve ever seen in Ohio!

This is where I was born and raised, I think it’s a fine place. I’m from Cleveland, and must say I prefer Northeastern Ohio far more than any other area of the state. But if you take a drive towards the south or west there is some beautiful scenery. The big cities are cool, other than that it’s pretty country-ish. We have the most pure and neutral accent in the country, so they say ;-)

I’m not going to say it’s not worth visiting…it’s the capital of my dear home state and it’s got OSU and some other stuff. I’m from Cleveland so obviously I’m partial to that.

Well, this is where I went for undergrad, and it has a very very special place in my heart. A teeny, tiny place with nothing to do since it just revolves around a teeny, tiny college but we managed to have fun! ;-)

Your average mid-biggish-sized city, has some nice suburb areas. Downtown is cute and has some pretty cool places to go out in. It’s also fun to go check out an Akron Aeros (baseball) game.

I say it’s worth visiting simply because this is where my dad’s side of the family all hails from…otherwise I don’t know that I’d say that. However, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is truly beautiful, and that’s not too far away.

Absolutely beautiful, maybe the most beautiful place I’ve seen so far in Spain. Fairly close to France, so it has a different feel to it I think.

I lived with a host family here for a semester back in 2000. I’ve visted a few times since then as well. It is a lovely, enchanting small town with a castle, an aqueduct, a cathedral and lots of segovianos strolling up and down the narrow streets. Definitely worth checking out!

Great fun!! Lots of bars and restaurants and clubs, always guaranteed a good time.
