Luxor

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

Egypte is more than terrific and wonderfull, I ca’t find a word who to describe the perfect moments I passed there! I wished I could have stayed! History is my domain, what better than to visit the city of Luxor! the Temple of Luxor, the Temple of Karnac, the Temple of Hatchepsout, the museum of Luxor, the valley of the kings, the valley of the queens, the museum of mumification and so on… Unfortunatly I only spent one week in a half, but I pretend to back in Egypte to descover other beauties of this country.

The last time I went to this place

I have some family there so I mostly went there to see the family but I managed to visit some important monuments such as a Torre de Belem, Castelo de São Jorge… the picture you see is a Torre de Belem. It was used to protect the entry of Lisbonne Harbour.

Vienna is located in the East of Austria. It was created by the celtes in the sixteenth century before Christ. During the Middle Age she becomes the capital of the Holy Roman and Germanique Empire. In 1815 she will be invaded by the Napoleon’s troops during half a century. All its history remains in museums, monuments that I surely recommend the visit.

Chateau de Chambord

The Castle of Chambord is the bigest castle of la Vallée de la Loire. It was bild for the simply reason that the king François Ier wished to be close to his lover la Comtess de Thoury. Its characteristic are his doucle helix stairs placed in the heart of the edifice; a Leonardo da Vinci’s work.
I’m fond of history, I often imagine how it could have been at the time. Chambord is terrific, i visited most of the Castles in la Vallée de la Loire my favorite remains Chenonceau. Even though Chambord is not the one I prefer I recommend its visit.

Kenya

I have a part of my family in Kenya. I only went there when I was 12 years old. I went there with my parents and most of the time we were visinting. We stayed for a time in Mombassa, we went to Mamba Village, it’s kind of a crocodil farm. After my parents took me to Nairobi, we saw the market, girafe centre, the ophanage of elephants… One week later we spent some time in a lodge that was our departure point to a safari! It was awesome! I saw lions, cheetahs, buffalos…It was one of the best holidays of my life!
