I recently returned from a NOLS course that took place primarily in the Absaroka Mountain range. It was amazing up there! The Absarokas are one of the few volcanic ranges in the Rockies, the rocks look totally different than you would expect (lots of Breccia). We saw incredible wildlife: so many moose, enormous porcupine, and grouse like you wouldn’t believe. The bear prints were HUGE, but unfortunatly there were no bear sightings. The Absarokas are incredible and I highly recommend spending some time in them.

Very Rural

It’s a pretty cool little college town…not much to do if you stray to far from campus. I recomment the Mellow Mushroom for pizza.

Great place for a nap in the sun, especially near the duck pond.

on the road trip between Baltimore and Providence. No matter which way you are headed, it’s always a good time to stop when you his Greenwich. When you are heading north, you definitly need to stop for some food to pee after sitting in NYC traffic for hours. When you are heading south, you need to stretch your legs after driving through CT, which seems to take forever.
There is a sandwich place in Greenwich that has an awesome Italian Coldcut. Also, the Food Emporium is a good place to stop for snacks. There is a Starbucks right next to it which is always helpful.

awesome ballpark. I love going to Orioles games even though I’m a Red Sox fan. The tickets at Camden Yards are very much within a college student’s budget.

Good place to kiss all your money goodbye. I’m not a fan.

This place is unbelievable. It should be your first stop when you get to Colorado Springs.
