I haven’t been to the town center, but I enjoy canoeing on the Hudson in this area. I go with a friend every year or two, and we often see exciting things like very low-flying eagles and explore the nearby islands.

over 5 years agoI remember an impressive moose head at this place. I’m not sure how my sometimes-vegetarian self would feel about it now. But I’m sure I’d still be just as crazy about all the fantastic tents to crawl through as I was when I was a little kid! I also recently heard an NPR story about how this place is open 24 hours a day. I would’ve loved to do that story. =)
