Worcester, Massachusetts

Home

I recently got an apartment here. I love that EVERYTHING I need is conveniently located (there are 3 supermarkets near me, a Lowes, AC Moore, Barnes & Noble, and Taproots!) and I am close to Wachusett Mountain. In the fall, if I want to go apple picking, I only have to drive one town over. Boston still isn’t too far if I want to go into Chinatown or Government Center, or even the Cape.

Worcester has two malls and even has museums. I am hoping to check out Higgins Armory soon as I here it is a good place to see. And if I want to get my Master’s degree, Worcester has a bunch of colleges to choose from!

Marlborough, Massachusetts

Untitled

It all about the Horatio Alger Day Chowder Fest! Yes, we have history here as well. There is a stollen bell involved too…but you’d only care if you were from Haper’s Ferry in Virginia, or so I am told. Yes, that would be the good ole John Brown Bell! Near by sites are Longfellow’s Wayside Inn, apple orchards, nature trails, old time shoppes, old architecture, and community theatre groups.

Granted most of the interesting stuff to do is around Marlborough, not in it. But Marlborough is a nice centralized location to access it all from!
