Only to the airport. by larelle
The airport was TINY. You can’t really see much from the airport, but from what was being shown on the flight before landing, the place looks like a tropical paradise. It was VERY humid. I’d like to go back some day.

One of the most beautiful spots in England. by larelle
I LOVE Wells. Went there recently. It was HOT! Had to try and get shade from the beach huts. The tide was out, so the shoreline was WAY away, but the beach is sandy and if you go at the right time of year, it is heaven on Earth. The town centre is cute and sitting by the Marina, you can let time and the world go by. It’s a great little place, but a DAMN long drive from Luton!

I’ve always wanted to visit Ireland. I initially have U2 to blame for that. Dublin is only about an hour plane journey from Luton. I might get to do it one day soon. You never know…

It has a bloody history, but I would want to go to see what the actual place looks like with my own eyes. I have been reading lots of biographies from people who grew up in China and the last book I read was called Lake With No Name by Diane Wei Liang and it was about her life during the student protests of 1989, leading to the Tiananmen Square massacre, and for this alone, I’d like to see the Square.

Been to Melbourne twice and not had the chance to visit it. If I ever got to move to Melbourne or some how happened to find myself there at Xmas, I’d LOVE to see Carols by Candlelight. Lovely!

I’ve been to Melbourne twice and not had the experience of the MCG. I’d even go when it was empty! But what I’d really love to experience is an AFL match there…or a cricket match. Either would be ideal.

Have actually sort of been before, but... by larelle
In June 2000 I went on a holiday to Oz and on the return flight there was the option to stay overnight at a hotal in Tokyo. Great! Why not? Well, it was actually right near Narita airport (some 40 miles from Tokyo) and we didn’t get to the hotel until 9pm, so a trip to Tokyo was a bit out of the question, and it was summer and was DAMN hot.
I would have dearly loved to have seen Tokyo though, particularly at night, but it just wasn’t viable. What I saw on the TV in the hotel room was enough to keep me occupied though!
I would definitely love to go back there though and have a proper chance of getting into the city.
