I love visiting St. Augustine and the fort!

The water tastes nasty, but hey, I still look VERY young…

Went to the Yankee Candle Company this weekend. Felt like I was Epcot! That was a strange feeling, knowing I was actually in a candle store…

I do have enough sense to know that I will never climb the mountain. :) Maybe in another lifetime… or maybe I did, and that’s why I want to go back so badly! :) I desperately want to see it with my own eyes, and would love to be able to make the trek to the base camp and spend some time there. Someday.

I had a girl at a fast food place throw a glass of tea at me because I gave her the drink back after I realized it was already sweetened, and I couldn’t have sugar, and she hadn’t told me it was pre-sweetened tea (yes, I had gotten upset and started crying when I gave the drink back, but I don’t see how that provoked a “throw it at me” response). I also ended up spending the entire day in the airport because my ride got me to the airport right AFTER my flight took off (I had been waiting by the car for half an hour), so spending the day with wet, tea-soaked clothing didn’t help matters any.

I just didn’t have a very good time there that day.

Beautiful glassware – VERY expensive. I got a votive holder, though, in a pattern I love and intend to get more of – eventually.

Went to the hot air balloon festival in the middle of June. That was nice. Had some very good artists there, too.

I love Victoria. I used to dream of moving there – I can’t wait to visit again.

Woodstock has THE BEST coffee shop I have ever found! And very cool art galleries. If it wasn’t for the fact that I have a hard time handling temps under 70 degrees, I’d move there permanently. :-)
