It’s like living a Corona commericial, Gorgeous, but very touristy. In town, the natives in the gifts shops see a caucasian coming, and they aggressively swoop in on you. Still colorful and interesting though, but we liked getting off the beaten path and hanging out at the beach. Be sure to snorkel amongst the gorgeous tropical fish. Don’t go down on a Carnival ship, though. We did and Carnival REALLYBLOWS!!!
over 6 years agoI know there’s some beautiful land in Georgia, and probably many good points of interest, but I hate traveling up I-75. The rest areas are FILTHY and.. well.. they smell like butt. and Atlanta is, without a doubt, has the worst drivers I’ve ever seen. I thought people were hideous drivers in Cincinnati and down here in Florida, but it pales in comparison to Atlanta, which I find very aggressive and just plain nuts! Among other things, I’ve seen several people miss their exit, stop in the middle of the road, throw it into reverse and back up to get their exit!!! They also have a thing for getting RIGHT up your tail before passing you, even when the other lanes are clear. What the heck is up with that!?
over 6 years agoHorses, fudge, forts, the Grand Hotel, Somewhere in Time. What a beautiful and unique island. Just have to get back there one day!
