Paris is one of the most special places on earth and it doesnt have to cost a fortune. I like to feel as though I live there, so myself and friends rent short-term aparments. Its cost effective and It forces me not to lean on concierge service- I think you loose something if you dont go out there and experience it hands on with little help.

I havent lived there since the early 90s but it was the best 4 years of my life. It could rain yet It always felt as though the sun was shining. The residents were fun, helpful, kind. Never a dull moment. It is a small attainable city that you can take a hold of and make your own.
