Used to visit NYC with my expouse. sigh No excuse to go nowadays, but the Met was one of my favorite places to spend hours, when I could convince him to go. The art garden, the Temple of Dendur. MASSIVE sigh simply wonderful.

went to school here for my senior year (‘90-91) on a year’s exchange program from college. Wonderful small town, lots of history (there’s an old OLD castle in old-town that Cromwell blew up) and the people can be quite friendly (more so since I was Californian and not English =) ). Lots of good walking to be done. I’d recommend pubbing around by the waterfront.

quiet suburban, near to BART and other public transport, the sushi restaurants are ok, and I feel safe here.

I’d love to go again – we spent most of our one day, shopping for shoes or something as my travelling companion had a mishap. Saw bloody little actual history.
