I remember going there. So funny how someone can recollect memories from when you were young. It was like it is now but back then it was so beautiful and very intense. You couldn’t help but feel something in your heart for the city and it’s people.
Funny i can’t count anymore how many times i have been baptised in my life and i am only 35. But i do remember being baptised in Jerusalem in a baptised house. They all had the old type bath tubs which were all separated by curtains. The nuns would lead you there and baptise you. I do remember that the water was so cold that i was screaming. But it was all worth it.
My mother and I also collected holy water that came out of the wall, walked the stone streets, watched white doves (yes white doves on the streets), and went to different churches praying. The architecture of the churches are so beautiful too.
I am willing to go back and revisit this city.
