I have dreamed of a winter holiday there (where it’s summer) during Christmas vacation. Perhaps one day!

would be much more interesting to me as an adult, I suspect. Plus, I want to journey to northern Ireland and visit where my ancestors came from … as well as go to pubs, sample their beer and play their music.

Ah, I was much younger, but even then the place was amazing. Be sure and visit Hamley’s, the world’s largest toy store! It’s a great place. Plus, the accents are quite fun. Even our own!

because Peter is there and I know he and Conrad would show me the city like no one else!

Now if I could only get over my big American cities fright …
