London was such a wonderful mixture of urban city and historic Europe. I was only there 5 and a half days, but we walked EVERYWHERE and managed to see alot. Even though London is known for rain, we had beautiful weather. Such a fun and lovely city!

I went to Hope College in Holland, MI and it’s a great town. The downtown strip is cute shopping and some good food and coffee. I especially loved walking around there in the snow and lights at Christmas.

But really, Holland is best in late spring and summer. The beaches are incredible, you’d hardly believe you’re in the midwest. And don’t be confused, people don’t wander the streets in wooden shoes always, just at Tulip Time. But all spring the tulips are everywhere. Just don’t pick them! It’s a $50 fine. :)

I was only in Lake George for an evening, but it looked like an adorable and fun town… I’d love to go back!

i went on a service trip to Apache, OK to tear down flood damaged houses. it’s a small Native American community, and we had a great time learning about the culture and meeting the wonderful, friendly people. and the landscape! endlessly breathtaking…

i’ve lived in the chicago suburbs my whole life, and attend grad school in the city. i’m convinced it’s the greatest city in the U.S. the museums, theatres, shopping… all great. never ending festivals and events, especially in the summer. and the chicago neighborhoods all have their own character. a great place to be.

i think i’m in love with the mountains…

I spent a week In the little town of Clinchco, VA and fell in love with the mountains, the bluegrass, and the loving, welcoming people.

I stopped at the memorial with a group of fellow students around 7:30am. It was perfect. Quiet. Reverent. Truly one of the most moving, beautiful, and respectful monuments I have seen.

21 or not, it’s a fun place. And a beautiful city lit up at night.
