What can you say about Vegas that hasn’t been said already? Probably the best thing I can say is that I’m not much of a gambler, but I still have a great time. There are plenty of shows, great food, and shopping to keep you away from the tables. I would also say that two or three days will do fine. A little Vegas goes a long way.
over 6 years agoA lovely Sonoma town. Alfred Hitchcock filmed one of my favorite movies here in the 1940s, Shadow of a Doubt. I was particularly interested in seeing some of the sites from the movie that still remain.
over 6 years agoA cruise I was on stopped in Halifax. I hadn’t been there for about thirty years. It’s a lovely city, though it had just been through a hurricane, and there was a lot of cleanup going on. We took a ride out to Peggy’s Cove, which is a really pretty, scenic seaside village.
