Japan

(in Asia)

Worth visiting!

Love Japan!!

I’ve been to Japan several times in my life. Being that my mother is from there, we went every 3rd year or so growing up and have been a couple times as an adult.

I love it there. My family lives in a rural area about a 2 hour drive from the Narita airport. It’s awesome there, just beautiful.

Tokyo is fun too! It can be a little overwhelming if you’re by yourself and don’t speak Japanese, but I was able to take a couple trains around Tokyo alone and not get lost :)

Irvine

Worth visiting!

My hometown too.

I don’t think Irvine is a place for visiting, but as far as living there, it’s definitely a place that’s right for some and not for others. I like it enough to move back here next year, but mostly because that’s where all the jobs are. It’s ridiculously expensive right now and crowded as they continue to build new housing developments. But they have a good school system (I think, I graduated out of it anyway) and good community services, parks, etc for children. And when you are a homeowner, it’s nice when the community association takes care of all those things like mowing the lawn and painting your house ;-)

Not worth visiting!

I live here.

I wouldn’t say it’s worth visiting as if you’d vacation here, but it’s not a bad place to stay if you’re driving through! :) I live more out in the boonies, but it’s rapidly growing in these areas as well. It’s hotter in the summer and colder in the winter than the coastal cities/ Orange County. I wouldn’t suggest moving out here if you have to commute because the 91 is ridiculous and getting worse every day as they continue to build out here. This is the reason we’re moving back to OC next year. The low home prices and quiet was nice while it lasted.
