ok.

Too humid. Lots of bad weather. Nothing exciting or breathtaking views. Just disneyworld. Would rather go elsewhere with my time.

Canada, North America

Magical!

I stayed in the British Columbia and Alberta area, visiting Fairmont Hot Springs, BC, Banff, Alberta, and other areas. I loved the beautiful mountains, trees, and weather! One of the best places to live, despite possible cold winters (summer was great, 40-80 F). I loved Banff National Park and Kootenay National Park. Lots of hiking, scenic photo shots, beautiful wild flowers, and animals (eagles, hawks, chipmunks, ground squirrels, deer, and some bear and elk although I only saw one bear this summer). The lakes and rivers are also beautiful – the color of a frosted aqua glass – which is a quite contrast from the mucky brown rivers in Texas! Small towns, but quaint and scenic and worthy living there! Oh, and also I liked how there was recycle bins everywhere including hotels and restaurants. Also very clean (no billboards or trash) on the highways. If only I could stand the cold winters, this Canadian area beats Texas!
