See if you can find the nuclear reactor…

I’ve never sat in a bad seat here, and the trains going by give it a unique ambiance. Check it out if you’re visiting Seattle or a local.

I remember sitting in our truck with my dad, brother, and sister. We had one vanilla and one banana milkshake, and were passing them around. Somehow Eric and Laura sitting in the back decided to pass the banana one to me, a major banana hater. Banana is not good when your expecting vanilla and especially not to me. I think I’m still mad at them for it.

Puerto Viejo is so relaxed. After spending our weeks in San José it was great to escape to the beach. It’s a small town, but with enough shops and a bank that you aren’t too far off the beaten path. Go here if you want to relax.

I grew up here! And I still miss it.

I’m headed to Costa Rica in May to complete a project for school. I’ll be looking at the protocol Costa Rica has for dealing with fires involving dangerous materials, comparing it to the US, and then suggesting improvements. Plus lots of day trips and fun in San Jose!!!

Wet burritos are amazing!

It’s not a bad place, there’s just nothing really there. I only went because my sister lives there. I will say the people are very welcoming, but I noticed this throughout Honduras.

When I was in high school we hosted a student from Kyrgyzstan, and I would like to see what kind of environment she grew up in. Plus it would just be great to see her again.

Should be Buckley, instead of Buckely. There’s not too much to see there. If you’re into logging there’s a small local museum and a Logger’s Rodeo every year over the last full weekend in June. There’s also a bike trail, but I’d rather ride the trail near South Prairie and Orting.
