I went to Set and Drift here a couple years ago. It was plenty of fun. Besides the usual tours and hot dog carts there was also site specific artwork and an animated short film screening. We brought a picnic lunch and made a day of it!

Yes, it can get pretty crowded, but you can avoid peak hours by going earlier in the day. They usually have adult swim hours in the early morning and later in the evening as well. Snack bar features the basics: hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and other sides, slushies and ice cream. Remember, bring a lock! And guys, your trunks must have a lining! Or they won’t let you in. Also, the only things allowed out of the locker rooms are you and your cute swimsuit and sunglasses, a towel, and a book. No cover-ups, except for a plain white t-shirt. There are a lot of rules, but it’s still a pretty good time.
