Worth visiting!

Like a wet frog.

I was born and raised here. Sometimes when I get lonely in The City, I’d feel homesick and would pine for home. I’d sit in my balcony, a mug of coffee in my hand. I’d close my eyes and remember how the sea in San Fernando sounds at 1 a.m.: like incessant cracks of thunder, muted to a degree of a lullaby.

The last time I went to this place

I remember it too well, because it was my first time to travel alone, in a plane. I was sitting next to a mom and her two-year-old son, who I was pointing clouds to. I was already teener at that time.

I was at Victorias for about a week and took trips to Bacolod a couple of times… visited Bago one time… I suddenly crave Spanish sardines all of a sudden.

The last time I went to this place

Was in Club Paradise the last time: we chartered a small plane, rode a jeep for about 45 minutes and rode a speed boat before getting to the resort. Was worth the travel.

Pagudpud

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

I had been to Pagugpud a couple of times. The first time, we came from the Cagayan side and had to drive through mountains, which overlooked the China Sea. Spectacular, spectacular view even before we got to Pansian and the “Blue Lagoon”.

Pagudpud’s beauty rests, not only on its fine sand and clear water, but its isolated wonder.

It’s about two hours’ drive from Fort Ilocandia, by the way.

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

Went to the Chang Kai Shek museum a lot, not far from Chung Hsiao where my dad maintained a flat while serving for the Phil. diplomatic mission. That was years back. No F4 at that time. Diana Ross, Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo had a concert that summer I was in Taipei though.
