So beautiful!
Ex-fishing village – today trendy holiday resort on the Peljesac peninsula.
The sea is crystal-clear and unbelievably blue, people are nice. Appartements are cozy, though they look old from the outside.
It’s hot all day long (bit too hot actually), the wind lessens it a bit – the Mistral, starts to sit usually at 2 pm – a great place for windsurfers.
You can rent a kayak, and paddle to the nearest islands (one with a lighthouse, one with a tavern (try their octopus-salad!) and one with nothing on it).
The water deepens fast, watch out for your children. The strand is pebbly, though there is a sandy part – but it’s always crowded…
You can make excursions to Korcula, or by boat or water-taxi to some of the islands in the area.
I had a great time there, and I’ll definitely go back there next year!
