Go alone or with someone special out into the desert and watch the sunrise and the desert start to wake!

I would definately return here for this, it’s a truly great festival! Plus, it’s very similar to the “Neewollah” Festival displayed in the classic film, “Picnic”, I’m always reminded of the Wichita River Festival, and the time I spent there when I watch that film!

This park has a very nice hiking trail, well worth visiting and getting a wee bit of exercise if you’re up for it!

I’m not sure if they still have the Unlimited Hydroplane races out at Mission Bay, it was over 20 years ago since I was there, but if they do, I’d love to go back! Sand, Sun and Fast Boats!

My Uncle & I drove down from their house in San diego, many, many years ago! We went to buy Shrimp and cheap booze, it was definately interesting!

I worked here a few years ago, in and around Farmington, the sunrises in the desrt are amazing!

Watching the clouds roll over the mountains at twilight can be a very calming experience, this is one of my favorite destinations!

If you go, make sure you go during the Winter Carnival!
