Don’t go during the summer months! They correspond with hurrican season, and that made the trip with my girlfriend a bed-ridden one. Not that that was so bad though…

Check out Coconut Grove (a town right outside Miami), the News Cafe and Jerry’s Famous Deli (both in South Beach).

A warm and fuzzy town. Stuck in the age of home-baked cookies. Go for a three hour walk, but stay away from the touristy shops selling cheapo Chinese wares!

I’ve been a resident of Illinois (various locales all over) my whole life. It’s smooth state, carved out by thousands of years of glacial movement. It’s inhabited by all the typical American florae and faunae. Many parts in central and southern have been left untouched by industry, residency and commercialism.

Home of the famous olive. My family has a condo here. This city really typifies the Mediterranean lifestyle, with fresh salty air, arid land, gorgeous beaches, and tiny mountain villages within a stone’s throw. On the southern tip of Peloponessus.
