Not worth visiting!
A review of this place
I’ve heard that Sicily was beautiful, so I was rather excited that Messina was a stop on my cruise. However, I walked around the port town, perhaps that was a bad idea and I should have traveled further, but it was a dirty, disgusting town, and I wouldn’t visit again. I did walk up the side of the hill though, up to the church, and the view was beautiful from there. I wouldn’t say I’d pay to go again though.
