I recommend it. The lakes and the outlet malls and such. But, my family and I went there every summer pretty much when I was little. It was a lot of fun, but then I got tired of it. It’s been awhile since I have been there (except my bf’s parents live there, so I went down there March 2005, but it wasn’t the strip…so it was cool then). The traffic really really sucks….that’s the only bad thing about it. But yeah…so, don’t go a lot. It be a fun weekend trip, but not every year.

It’s sad that there is going to be a new one. I went to a Cardinals game this summer and there was a lot of hype of the new stadium. We got free baseball hats when we entered the stadium with the years with the old stadium.

Great weekend getaway! I went during the summer to the STL. We went to the St. Louis Arch, ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory and walked around downtown, ate at Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, went to a cardinals game, went to the mall…and that’s pretty much what we did for that weekend. I had so much fun and it was my first trip there being from K.C.
