Basically a mountain sticking out of the Atlantic !..Lovely mild to warm weather all year. A botanical wonder! Loads of places to stay…from reasonable to expensive. DO visit the fish market in Funchal & then eat Espada Fish. The do great banana fritters there too!!
A superb beach !!…excellent for watersports AND excercising your dog when past the NO dogs area. The dogs have 2 miles of sand to run on!
over 7 years agoA little village where you can get excellent mint tea! There is also accomodation – even if on a roof.
Food can be purchased in Tademt and Asni
