San Jose is a nice place, but I would not recommend making it your only destination in Costa Rica. We stayed a few days, which was enough. Aparthotel Christina was a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood and only 5 minutes from the city center. Enjoy!

I would highly recommend a visit to Manuel Antonio – Quepos. It is truly spectacular and has great beaches and views. There are fantastic restaurants (My favorite was the Rico Tico Grill at the Si Como No Hotel) Whatever you do, don’t stay at the Banana Treel Hotel. Hope soon-to-be visitors enjoy it as much as I did!
