In fairness.. we were there on a Sunday.. but we walked around all day.

Ok.. there was one funny bit – a huge guy wearing a little black vest playing a tiny guitar by his motorcycle. Not folksy strumming stuff.. but epic songs like Toto – Africa. Topping it off, he had speakers playing an orchestral backdrop.

Ok.. there was another funny bit – it was international volunteer day, so one of the parks had a bunch of booths set up and one guy approached us, passionately advocating Esperanto.

Don’t do the hike up the mountain. It’s long and the church up top isn’t very impressive. Plus, you have to make your way through a pretty shit part of town to get there.

Don’t try to do it all. Pick an exhibit or something you want to see, do it and bail. If you’re like me, after 6 hours in a museum like this you’ll stop getting anything out of it.

The title pretty much says it.

Great to see a local place like this thriving.

Very foggy when we went up a few weeks ago!

I went for a date and it was incredible. A server who could tell us foreigners when the American revolution took place, told us they stay open until everyone is full and wants to go home. Great food (we had a very tasty “Onassis” pasta) and wine. Eclectic vintage decor. As we were some of the last people there and some good tunes were playing we were inspired to have a few slow dances in the back of the restaurant.

Went to Ignite (http://igniteseattle.com). It was awesome.

I was there during the Freemont Solstice festival last week. Great selection of beers, but be prepared to pay $9 for the more exotic ones.

For some reason a lot of people think I look gay. Random girl asks my friend Ethan if I am. He says no. She walks up to me and starts fully making out with me. Stunned, I just kind of stand there. She announces to everyone that I’m not gay and walks on.

I’m terrible at pool.. but that’s here nor there. Mediocre atmosphere, DJ, food. I was kind of surprised when some eats and drinks came out to $230. Hopefully next time someone else pays ;-)
