Take a bus tour if you don’t have a lot of time – we got to see almost the whole college and most of the city from the top of a double decker bus – in 40 degree weather!

Would have been more enjoyable if not for the restless school children!

This museum sticks with me and I think about it often, even though it’s been about a year since I visited. It’s variety and depth of the exhibits kept me entertained. I especially liked the plasters of famous sculptures around the world mainly because I haven’t seen most of them yet.

Has some really, really ancient pieces. The Egyptian collection is a must see.

We spent forever in the room to right of the entrance – the display method was amazing. You could barely see the Rosetta Stone because of the crowd, but the Greek relics were also quite amazing.

So many summers spent here!

This really helps put London in perspective.

Although the tour moves past some of the graves quickly and without a second thought, the history that you learn is invaluable and adds texture to what you’re looking at. Look for Darwin’s grave!

Loved the peacock garden!
