The Grand Canyon is amazing year round. However, seeing the snowfall in the canyon is spectacular. I took a train from Williams to the Grand Canyon, a winter special that included three meals, one night hotel stay, and coach tour for $99. It was a wonderful short-weekend experience I would definitely do again. Although, next time I think I will take a hike down into the canyon and enjoy some whitewater rafting.
