Worth Visiting, but only to see Charlie Wood.

Charlie is an organ player that is by far one of my favorie musicians. Skip everything else on Beale Street, but hit King’s Palace and listen to him play and sing. Buy ALL his records. You won’t regret it.

Belgium, Europe

I've been here but only for about 30 minutes.

I haven’t really given Belgium and Brussels a chance. We stopped there on a train between Germany and The Nederlands last year. But they were an action pack 30 minutes let me tell you. In that short time, I visited easily the nastiest bathroom I have ever seen in my life (and I used to live in a “3rd world” country). We saw a man beaten by a gang of thugs, and my husbands’ laptop was stolen. Needless to say, I didn’t get a warm fuzzy feeling from our short time there. I’m sure with the right amount of persuasion, we could probably be convinced to give Belgium another try. But we’re not in a hurry.
