an exchange student is here at my university from the Melbourne area. she said that there are big bugs.. and i’m terrified of certain bugs.

is it possible for me to go and be alright? i’m worried now that i won’t ever be able to go…

i was on a cruise so i saw pompeii and naples and sorrento all in one day. i think a few hours were enough for pompeii, for me (someone with an average appreciation of history). if you’re really big into history i would recommend spending a day here. its very possible as its huge!

it seems breathtakingly unfamiliar and like it’d be just overall a great experience. this trip will probably not happen for years and years, but i like to pretend it will happen sooner than that :)

i met a bunch of guys from wales today. they were a lot of fun and we chatted a bit about visiting wales one day. they taught me more about rugby too which was nice! one day i hope to see wales.

Van Gogh Museum! Culture! Much much more

The first sunday of every month is free admission!! If you’re planning a trip to Paris and you want to check out museums, plan it around the first Sunday of the month. The museums are all free then! It means there will be crowds because everyone loves a free deal, but hey, it’s going to be crowded any day.

Also, this place is hugeeeee. It will be impossible to cover it all in one day. When you get inside, I suggest grabbing one of the Museum maps and deciding on a plan of what you want to see. Of course, the Mona Lisa is a must. Enjoy!

My best friend is working abroad here since september. i cannot wait to visit her and have her show me how she’s been living the past 5 months. i’ll be looking forward to the food especially and the people! :)

i heard something about a festival of fire and rain.. i want to find out more about it because it sounds wonderful! and also i hear the wine is excellent :P
